Prioritising Hygeine
It's no surprise that hygeine is going to become, even more of a top priority in schools - with multiple touch points to think about, an array of age groups, larger social bubbles and more. Scaling this operation up from safely teaching the children of keyworkers and the vulnerable, is not going to be an easy feat.
The guidance around face coverings is still in the balance. As of 27th August, secondary school pupils in areas of local lockdown in England will need to wear facecoverings in communal areas and whilst moving between classes.
Funding
For additional supplies required, schools have access to an additional £1 Billion grant to go towards additional premises costs, support for childreren who were eligible for free school meals during the school closures and aditional cleaning measures required.
Larger Social Bubbles
All children are expected to return to school - emphisising the challenge ahead to schools in rolling out the prodeedures that were in place for smaller bubbles in the Summer.
No Extra Space Provisions
No extra school space will be made available by the government, schools will have to make the most of thier existing space.
